The ASICS Gold Coast Marathon and its associated events will take place on Saturday, July 5, and Sunday, July 6, 2025. This marathon weekend offers a variety of race distances for runners of all ages and abilities, including the full marathon, half marathon, 10km, 5km, wheelchair races, and a junior dash. AIMS certified, the marathon’s 42.195 km course provides officially recognized finish times for qualifying in prestigious races like the Boston Marathon. Since its inaugural run on September 2, 1979, in Evandale, the marathon has grown into Australia’s premier road running event and is regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious marathons. The course is celebrated as one of the flattest and fastest globally, winding along picturesque beaches and the Broadwater, from Paradise Point in the north to Miami in the south. Combined with typically mild winter weather, low humidity, gentle breezes, and moderate temperatures these scenic and favorable conditions make for an exceptional running experience.
